Guided by the question, “What are implications of national educational evidence standards for school librarianship research?,” prevailing U.S. evidence-driven policies examined to identify research; promising methods contribute building this base explored; and finally, progress on a long-term research agenda designed enable researchers policy is reviewed. As explored, an actionable proposed that library can undertake participate in causal environment.
